This is a one-stop-shop for all of the Nut Grower Society events.  You will find here logistic info for all NGS events.

2020 NGS Events

NGS Annual Winter Meeting - Thursday, January 16, 2020

Please note: The NGS Annual Winter Meeting and the Northwest Ag Show are on the same date (NWAS is 15-17). We understand this is an inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.  Going forward, the dates will not be the same as this was due to contractual obligations.  

All Winter Meeting booths have been sold.

Update of Location: The Trade Show, Registration and Annual meeting will be at the OSU LaSells Stewart Center only!  The CH2M Hill building will not be used.

What is included in your vendor packet?

The vendor packet will be available at check-in on January 15th from 3-6pm at the LaSells Stewart Center, registration tent.The packet will have the program (agenda, vendor list, etc.) with the name tags of your staff manning the booth.  For other staff only attending the meeting, their name tags will also be in your packet.  Please make arrangements for your staff to meet with you to get their name tags.  This will help with the flow of traffic for members coming in on the 16th to get their name tags. The name tags are your lunch ticket. If you have made arrangements to come on the 16th to set up, your packet will be at your booth.

January 15th (Wednesday) 3:00-6:00pm

Vendors are invited to set up in the LaSells Stewart Center on the OSU campus between 3 and 6pm. Vendors can park in the front of the LaSells Stewart Center on SW 26th.  Come to the registration tend outside of the building to pick up your vendor packet and unload.  Once you have unloaded, please move your vehicle to the designated parking areas (parking pass code included in your vendor packet and link below). 

January 16th (Thursday)
7:00am - Registration and Trade Show Open
8:30am - Official business meeting begins
Approx. 11:30 - 1:00 Lunch
2:30pm - Meeting closes and members to continue to Trade Show

3:30pm - Trade Show closes

Parking Pass: Link below is the parking pass code.  This is for a half day on the 15th and a full day on the 16th.  You will need to get a coupon printed for each day.

Venue Map: Please open the link below for the venue map that has the booth assignments.  Because of time constraints, booths were assigned.  The event tent will be fully heated, have drink station (coffee/tea/water).  We have put the booths together the best way to have members walk through and see all of the vendors.

Shipping Materials: If you need to ship your booth materials ahead of time, please address:

When arranging for return shipment, you will be responsible for arranging through your carrier for January 17th pick-up

Electricity: Each booth will be supplied an electrical feed, but you will need to bring your own extension cord to run to your booth.

Vendor Break/Lunch Room:  There will be the vendor break and lunch room available in the Weyerhauser Room in the LaSells Stewart Hall.  Sack lunches will be available from 11:00-1:00 in the room along with coffee, tea and water available all day. Pick up a light breakfast in the Agriculture Science Room in the LCS Building starting at 7:00am.

Internet AccessOSU has guest wi-fi under “OSU guest” when connecting.  Access is in 4-hour increments.  At 4 hours, just log in again to continue.

Information to send to Juli no later than January 5th:

  1. The names of everyone that will be attending your booth.  I will have a special vendor name badge for all vendors attending and will be in  your packet at registration. I will also need a head count for sack lunches.  Each 10x10 booth receives three lunches.  If you require additional lunches, send a check for $10 each made to NGS (21595-A Dolores Way NE, Aurora, OR 97002).
  2. If you will be shipping your materials so I can give a list to OSU staff in order to have enough room for storage.
  3. How many vehicles you have to park as we have to prepay based on attendance.
