North American Plants in McMinnville is the world’s largest
micropropagator, specializing in a wide variety of trees and plants.
They are opening their doors to show how they take hazelnut tissue
cultures from Oregon State University and turn them into thousands of
saplings every year. The event
will begin at 10am and run approximately one and a half hours. Hosts will
give tours of their nursery and provide some history about their
operations. Coffee and snacks will be provided.
